Sulukule Kapısı (Sulukule Gate)

     İstanbul'un en sade ve ihtişamlı yapıları benim için Theodosius'un surlarıdır, şehir surlarının zannediyorum 18. yy'de yavaş yavaş yıkılmaya başlanmasının ardından geriye kalan ender şehir duvarlarından biri de Theodosius'un surları. Surlarda ne zamandır çizim yapmak istiyordum fakat güvenlik gerekçesiyle de tırsmıyor değildim hani. Sonunda o tarafta işlerim olunca korkumu yenmek durumunda kaldım ve başladım çizime. Bu kapı Sulukule kapısı. Böyle büyük yapılarda ölçekleme konusunda sıkıntı çektiğim aşikar.

     For me, the walls of Theodosius are the purest and most magnificient structures of the İstanbul. After the demolishing of city walls in 18th century, walls of Theodosius is partially remained. I've been thinking drawing this beauties for a long time but because of security problems i was little afraid of this place. In the end i forced to beat my fear and started to drawing. I drew Sulukule Gate in this picture. When drawing such huge structures, my biggest problem is scaling.
